Giving access
Give exactly the right people the right level of access.
There are two questions, not one: who can see it, and who can change it.
Manage Access sits in the dashboard header — on the dashboard itself, not in Settings, so whoever built it can share it.
The dialog lists Groups first — C-Level, Employee, External, Head of department, Investor and the rest — then individuals, with a search box for finding one quickly.
Each row has two checkboxes: Read and Write. Read lets someone open the dashboard. Write lets them change it. The column headers carry select-all boxes, which is convenient and worth using carefully — granting Write to a whole group is one click.
Prefer groups to individuals. A group stays right as people join and leave; a list of names is correct on the day you write it and quietly wrong six months later.
⚠ External is a group like any other in this dialog. Ticking it is how a dashboard reaches someone outside the company, so it deserves a second look before you press Save.

- 1Search, for finding one group or person quickly
- 2Read, with its select-all checkbox in the header
- 3Write, with its own select-all
- 4Groups, listed before individuals
- 5C-Level, granted both Read and Write
- 6External — a group like any other in this list
