The report library

Manage reports over time and create the next reporting shell efficiently.

Next quarter's report is rarely built from nothing — it's built from this one.

The Investor Reporting library lists Report name, Author, Sent, Status and Action. Status distinguishes reports that are Draft, Approved or Sent; the Sent column records the distribution date when available.

The action icons provide view, delete, duplicate and share. Pagination moves through older reports.

Pressing duplicate on a row copies that report's entire shell — every section, every section's Type, and its content — into a new report with Status: Draft. What it does not do is move the date range forward on its own: a duplicated Q2 report still has Q2's dates on every KPI and Financial reporting section until you open each one and reset the timeframe to the current period. Skipping that step is the single most common mistake with duplication — the new report looks finished because the structure is all there, but it's still quietly reporting on the wrong quarter.

The practical sequence for building next quarter's report: duplicate the closest suitable prior report, then work section by section resetting each date range before touching anything else, and only then update commentary and KPI selections. Do not duplicate a report by editing the original sent one — duplicate creates a new row in the library, leaving the historical sent report untouched.
